Last Saturday was indeed an awesome time for me. Together with the kids from Everyone Has Hope project we went to the Jungle Lodge Alang Sedayu near Gombak. The kids were joined with other Burmese children around KL. It was an amazing time hanging out with them.
Happy new year to all, yes I know it is a bit late to wish everyone but it has been crazy busy for me since the year started. There will be loads of updates coming along your way. Please do check out my site. Anyway last year I was given the opportunity to shoot a portrait series at Urbanscapes. This event saw big names in music both local and internationally. I will always love Kuala Lumpur, many say that there is nothing in the city to shoot but I always have new things to take pictures of when I am there. Kuala Lumpur is just perfect to me….
Twestival® (or Twitter Festival) uses social media for social good by connecting communities offline on a single day to highlight a great cause and have a fun event. This year, we are supporting PRIHATIN, a NGO in Kota Bahru caring for single mothers and children living with AIDS/HIV. The event helped to raise all the money that was needed for the charity. The event saw a lot of Twitter users and also some celebrities, here are some pictures:

In the era of communication surpasses boundaries. The introduction of smartphones such as the iPhone has helped people communicate better. Also with the introduction of multi faceted apps on these phones has made photography better as well. One particular app is the Hipstamatic which gives users to select various lenses and film to create amazing images. Here are portraits that I have done using this app. Enjoy :

Well, that is all I took today with the amazing Canon EOS 60D and more pictures to come….
I have been always a big fan of off camera lighting. I have always loved how the way Nikon camera can integrate with the speedlites. I know the Canon EOS 7D had it and it is kinda late that this feature is introduced in the Canon EOS 60D, well it is better late than never. The EOS 60D can remotely control EX Series Speedlites that are compatible with wireless control. No we can easily enjoy high-level wireless multi-flash shooting.
Well here are some shots I did using the wireless flash and I like green colored ones as I used color gel to get that effect:
Well that is all for now, well more features of the Canon EOS 60D will be up soon this week and expect new pictures as well !
