Yes, its been a while….anyway as usual my blog is all about my photography works and that is what I am good at. Well, a few weeks ago I joined the Canon Photo Marathon 2008, and it was indeed a long day with three themes needed to be accomplished as part of the competition. Of Weddings and A Baby…

Yes, after the long weekend I had, it was another week of meeting relatives and all as it was the Deepavali week and I had so much of food at my aunts place, despite all that, I had to attend my friends wedding, it was Jacklyn & Thomas Wedding reception at Tropicana Golf and Country Resort.

She is one of my very good friends from Putera Aman Assembly and I know since she was a student in Multimedia University…..Congrats to you all both yea, I was not the official photog, I only brought my 50mm lens to take some shots :

Well, that was it for the wedding and yes, I am again an uncle for the 2nd time as my 2nd cousin sister gave birth to her baby girl and I was there in her house to take some shots of her after 30days, and man she is so adorable and cute. Here she is, baby Chandana :

She is so sweet and I was holding her for the longest time in my arms….anyway tats all for now…

Ramadhan Bazaar and Light Painting/Graffiti Meetup….

Last Saturday was one of the best meet-ups we had at our KLickr event, after finishing my work in office I headed over to pick my bestie Jolene and we headed to Bangsar to join the KLIckr guys for a buka puasa at Johan’s place. The event started off the Ramdadhan Bazaar at Jalan Telawi whereby we went to take pictures of the food and people there, it was a nice time clicking away at food and also the environment there. So many local delicacies were on sale and it was an awesome experience of me shooting there. And here some pictures that I took at the bazaar :

Yes, last week was the Mid Autumn Celebration in UCSI and the students from the Chinese Cultural Society did an excellent job in carpturing the essence of lantern festival and I took some nice pictures and here they are :

Malaysian International Fireworks Competition 2008

51st Merdeka Celebration

Well, its not too late to wish people out there Selamat HAri Merdeka, and Malaysia celebrated its 51st Independence Day on 31st August. Worldwide Photowalk @ Kampung Baru

Last Sunday evening was raining like cats and dogs but there were at least 30-odd people who made their way to the heart of KL at Kampung Baru for the Scott Kelby’s Worldwide Photowalk which is hosted by the National Association of Photoshop Professionals. So, we here from KL FLickr were part of this worldwide photowalk and the main aim of the photowalk is to take pictures of one part of the city in its natural way and also to foster friendship within other photographers but also there is a prize that awaits for the photographers who join the walk.
